Kay Peterson

Kay Peterson, M.S., LDT, CALT, QI, received her Bachelor of Science degree in child development and a Master of Science in business administration and human resources. Kay is a publisher of educational materials (Elterbarry Press) to support Orton-Gillingham-based programs, CEO/director of LEAD/Literacy Education & Academic Development, Inc., and is adjunct faculty for the School of Education at Mississippi College. She is a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and an ALTA Qualified Instructor (QI). Kay has served as president of the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) and on the board of directors for the Dallas Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. She is president of the Alliance for Accreditation and Certification and serves as treasurer for the ALTA Foundation. She is also president of the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC).
